Flu Campaign 2022/23

Please see the below guidance for attending our annual influenza clinics this weekend.

Clinics –

Over 65 patients – Saturday 1st October 2022

At risk patients – Sunday 2nd October 2022

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please update with the reception team over the next few days.

IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY DURING THIS TIME. PLEASE CONTACT THE SURGERY AND THE RECEPTION TEAM WILL RE-BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT.

To reduce the risk of COVID – 19 Village Surgery will be actively using social distancing guidance during the clinics.

Please ensure that you have the correct attire for all Weather Conditions (Rain coat / Umbrella / etc) Weather check suggests it may rain on either day this weekend.

Face coverings are to be worn when inside the building at all times.Hand sanitiser is to be used on entry and exit of the building.

All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE depending on their role.

Entry to the clinic will be through the main entrance.

Exiting the clinic will be through the back fire exit, a staff member will be there to guide patients.

Staff will be available during all clinics to offer guidance and support.

If you are attending the surgery with family members all patients must be eligible for vaccination and have an appointment booked to be seen.

If patients have difficulty in walking we can provide vaccinations in your vehicle – please let a member of the team know if you require this.

Please be aware we will not be doing COVID Boosters at this clinic, you will be need to contact 119 to schedule your autumn booster.
