Flu Campaign 2021/22 – Over 65 Flu Clinics

Please see the below guidance for attending our over 65 Flu Clinic this weekend.

IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY DURING THIS TIME. PLEASE CONTACT THE SURGERY AND THE RECEPTION TEAM WILL RE-BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Due to COVID – 19 restrictions Village Surgery will be actively using social distancing guidance during all clinics.Patients may be asked to queue / wait outside the building until they are to be seen by a clinician.

Please ensure that you have the correct attire for all Weather Conditions (Rain coat / Umbrella / etc)

Face coverings are to be worn when inside the building at all times.

Hand sanitiser is to be used on entry and exit of the building.

All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE depending on their role.

Entry to the clinic will be through the main entrance

Exiting the clinic will be through the back fire exit, a staff member will be there to guide patients.

Staff will be available during all clinics to offer guidance and support.

If you do not have an appointment you will be asked to contact the Surgery the next working day to check eligibility and arrange an appointment

If you are attending the surgery with family members all patients must be eligible for vaccination and have an appointment booked to be seen.

If patients have difficulty in walking we can provide vaccinations in your vehicle – please let a member of the team know if you require this.

Please be aware we will not be doing COVID Boosters at this clinic, you will be contacted additionally to attend for your Boosters if eligible.
