Please be aware that we are in the initial planning stages of this years Flu campaign, we are aware that there has been current media coverage with regards to the COVID Booster programme and if we receive confirmation and details regrading this moving forward we will happily look at integrating this into this year’s flu campaign.
OVER 65 PATIENT CLINIC
We have put plans in place to start our flu campaign in September 2021, we aim to have an over 65 patient clinic at Village Surgery on Saturday 25th September and Sunday 26th September (Times to be confirmed)
Patients will be able to contact the surgery in early September 2021 and make an appointment for the above-named days, the clinic will run as last year.
Please be aware that this date MAY change and is dependent on current delivery information we have received from our supplier.
AT RISK PATIENT CLINIC
We are currently still awaiting delivery schedule information with regards to this cohort and will update our website when we have received our schedule. We are aiming at a full day weekend clinic in October 2021 if deliveries permit.
50 – 64-YEAR-OLD PATIENT CLINICS
These clinics as above will be confirmed once we have received our delivery schedule from our suppliers.
Process & Expectations
Patients will be advised to contact the surgery Monday – Friday between 11am and 2pm to book a time slot for their vaccination. (Please be aware bookings are not yet available for this and patients will be updated via website / social media / sms when appointments are open for bookings.
Please be aware we will continue to keep our patients and staff safe during these clinics, we will encourage social distancing and the wearing of face masks at all times. Hand sanitizer will be available upon arrival and exit of the building.
If you have difficulty with mobility please update this to a member of the reception team and we will come to your vehicle to administer your influenza vaccination.
